Well, my wish came true yesterday when Gmail added "colored labels" feature. Check it out. It looks nice and easy to use. But going thru' old emails (without using gmail filters) to label them is really a PITA.

Colored Labels in Gmail
I always wanted my emails to be easily labeled, but not go thru' the folder hell. I extensively use Gmail and I wished for a long time to [easily identify] labeled emails instead of just starring them.
Well, my wish came true yesterday when Gmail added "colored labels" feature. Check it out. It looks nice and easy to use. But going thru' old emails (without using gmail filters) to label them is really a PITA.

hmmm,I am not sure if you noticed this before or not.But labeling was there in Gmail from long long time. They have just added colour to that.

Yes Vikram. Labeling was there long time ago.. I was mentioning the colored ones.. :)
i only know about school textbook labels. :)) not my cup of tea! :(
